I ran out of money but I never got prompted at any point for more funds.

1) At what money limit does more money become available?
2) Do I need to be in the lobby?

Hi Petelee 1,

This is what the Hoyle Casino 2009 Help file says about running out of money:

**********

If you run out of money during a game, you are automatically presented with two choices:

1. You can reset your player to the initial $5,000, reverting back to the initial line of credit, and losing any statistical information for your player.

2. You can take a loan, the amount of which is based on the credit level you have reached. In this case, you keep your credit card and your statistics, but you have to pay the loan back before you are allowed to advance to the next credit level. Once you have taken a loan, you will need to repay it at some point.
You are automatically prompted to make a loan repayment when you have enough funds.

There are some situations in which you will not be offered a loan.

You can’t get a loan if you already have a loan outstanding, if you are playing in a tournament, or if the game decides you already have enough money and don’t need to borrow more.

**********

If you are not given either of the stated choices, the best course of action might be to create a new player - because since you will lose all of your statistical information if you were to revert back to the initial line of credit, that's pretty much the same thing as starting over.

If the game decides you already have enough money and don’t need to borrow more, there's nothing that can be done about that - because that's strictly a programming issue.

If you feel that this situation is related to a bug in the program, I'm afraid there's nothing that can be done about that - because since Hoyle Casino 2010 was recently released, there will be no more patches for Hoyle Casino 2009.
